What We Need & What You Get
We are looking to raise $4700 to help cover the costs of the production of a nice show. This covers things like tents, police security, barricades and signage, electricity, insurance and other infrastructure (all the boring stuff that makes these events happen). Any additional money will go for more live performances, as well as enhancements to the infrastructure.

As a thank you to our donors, we have enlisted the talented Aquarela Sabol to create a special piece of art for the event. From her work, we are making some exclusive merchandise just for our donors, including stickers, posters, t-shirts and even signed, limited edition prints. This will be the ONLY place you will be able to get this exclusive merchandise, it will not be for sale at the event or anytime afterwards. We are also offering special thank you posts on our websites and social media. In addition, we have artist booth spaces and larger sponsorship packages available, up to and including having the event named after you!

If you would like to exhibit at the show, please choose the $100 “Artists Booth” option. This is ONLY available to artists located in South Florida. We encourage you to split the booth with one or more artists. Each booth space is 10×10 and comes with a pavilion tent and electricity. You will need to bring all your own display materials, easels, tables, chairs, lights, etc. All products sold in artist booths must be made from original work by the artists, but may include prints, t-shirts and other merchandise.

The Impact
We are creating the Dwntwn Arts Fair in order to allow more artists and organization participate in the big DWNTWN Art Days that is produced by the Downtown Development Authority and includes dozens of arts organizations located around Downtown Miami. By creating a pop-up street festival, we create a temporary space where artists and organizations that may not be located in downtown can take advantage of the massive media coverage surrounding the exciting weekend.

In addition, a family-friendly street festival engages the community in a special way. By placing art in the public space, we create an opportunity for residents to accidentally encounter culture and culture builds communities.

Life Is Art has over a six year track record of creating wonderfully engaging events designed to bring the community together around local art. We have produced well over one-hundred events of all shapes and sizes. For this show, we have teamed up with some other exciting organizations who bring their own unique experience to the programming.

Risks & Challenges
Of course, as any outdoor event in South Florida, we face weather challenges; however, we have never let that stop us in the past. We have tents for all the artists and programs. Should it get too bad, we can adjourn to the numerous restaurants along the street with whom we are partnering.

Other Ways You Can Help
We can definitely use some volunteers, especially to help set up Saturday morning and clean up Sunday night. Just fill out this form and mention you want to help with Dwntwn Arts Fair!

Of course, we would love if you can help promote our fundraiser. Use those Indiegogo share tools to let your friends know.
