Hollywood’s Young Circle Enjoys Cultural Renaissance, Food Trucks On Mondays

Since it was founded, Young Circle has been one of Hollywood’s most visited parks. Located in the center of Downtown Hollywood, Young Circle frequently plays host to a variety of concerts, restaurants, bars, and countless other special events.
Named after the City’s founder, Joseph Wesley Young, the park has become a great multi-purpose park that was remodeled as part of the 2000 Safe Parks and Land Preservation Bond.
City officials said that the Arts Park has added to the existing charm of Young Circle.
“The addition of Arts Park has given the city a fun family atmosphere with a art focus and other attractions,” Hollywood director of Parks and Recreation Eric Brown said.
Arts Park was constructed on the existing property with the addition of a 9,750 square foot outdoors theater, The Millennium Springs, a meadow and a grove, and large children playground.
Most recently, over 20 food trucks have flocked to Arts Park in Young Circle on Monday evenings from 5:30 PM until 9:30 PM.
“It’s a very family centric event. People bring blankets, chairs and have a modern day picnic with the food trucks,” Brett Chiavari, the owner of BC Tacos said.
BC Tacos has become a favorite during the weekly event.
Speaking with the owner, Brett Chiavari , he elaborated more on how the name came to be and their most unique menu item that plays off a prehistoric theme.
“It was an easy theme to go off with BC,” Chiavari said. “The Gatherer is probably the most unique.”
The Gatherer is a freshly fried avocado taco garnished with mozzarella cheese and chipotle mayo. BC Tacos also offers a braised beef short rib taco, grilled shrimp taco, and locals say that they all a must try.
