Drunk Kansas Police Chief Arrested For Pointing Gun in Man’s Face

Friday, January 26th, 2018

It is unusual for a police chief to get arrested and tased, because they are the head of the department.
But the police chief of the Drexel Police Department in Missouri got drunk, started an argument with a man, pointed a gun in the man’s face, and then was arrested for it; not to mention the police chief was tasered in the process. Drexel is about an hour south of Kansas City.
KMBC reports that Police Chief Jonathan R.G. Carpenter, 39, was arrested early Wednesday morning and booked into the Cass County jail. Carpenter was off duty at the time of his arrest.
Cass County deputies were called to a convenience store to meet with the victim. The call was for a domestic disturbance.
The 911 caller stated that a man had pointed a gun at another man. Upon deputies’ arrival the male victim said that Carpenter started a verbal argument with him, pulled out a gun and pointed it at his face. Additionally the victim stated Carpenter was intoxicated when the argument occurred.
The victim is the son of Carpenter’s longtime girlfriend.
Deputies then arrived at the home of Carpenter on East Hickory Street in Drexel at 3 a.m. As deputies moved in to make the arrest, Carpenter began to resist so much that a deputy had to shoot Carpenter with a Tazer.
Deputies were finally able to arrest Carpenter on scene and charged him with unlawful use of a weapon while intoxicated and resisting or interfering with arrest. Carpenter is being held in jail on a $7,500 bond.

WATCH: Minnesota Cop’s K-9 Attacks Innocent Woman Taking out Trash; Now She’s Suing

Friday, December 8th, 2017

A Minnesota cop’s K-9 attacked an innocent woman as she was taking out her trash in September.
And now she’s suing.
St. Paul cop Thaddeus P. Schmidt failed to maintain control of his police dog that mauled her arm for more than 30 seconds after grabbing her and knocking her to the ground.
“You’re fine,” one officer can be heard telling the woman as he grabs her hand, pulling her away from the dog.
But that only appears to cause her more pain, since the dog’s bite is locked onto her arm pulling her in the opposite direction.
Another officer shouts commands at the dog to stop, but it doesn’t listen and continues mauling the woman.

“Please help me!” Desiree Collins, 52, pleads with the officers.
The dog ignores at least 10 commands from the officers to release the woman and continues to maul her arm for about 30-seconds as she screams for help.
“What you have here is a completely innocent person taking out their garbage, and a K-9 simply wasn’t controlled,” said one of Collins’ attorneys, Andrew Noel.
“It should have never happened.”‘
Officer Schmidt is the only defendant listed in the lawsuit filed by Collins’ attorneys.
Her attorneys claim he violated her right to be free from excessive force and unreasonable seizure in accordance with the Fourth Amendment.
According to the suit, multiple officers were were responding to a burglary call when when Schmidt and Gabe, a 5-year-old German Shepard, began searching for the suspects without any “definitive information” about the suspects’ whereabouts and without any “visual target.”
Schmidt placed Gabe on a long leash then gave three verbal warnings.
“Announce  yourself. Come out now. You will get bit,” Schmidt shouted while standing close to fellow police officers covering him.
“No reasonable officer would have believed that a warning given at this location, sheltered by homes and trees,” the lawsuit says.

Caught on Video, Police Officer Went from Employed to Unemployed

Friday, June 2nd, 2017

If only this happened every time a law enforcement officer was caught doing something questionable, we would live in a very different time, but sadly that is not the case.
What started off as a Facebook live stream with an Uncle and his Nephew, hanging out listening to some jams and acting the fool, resulted in a paid suspension and eventually the officer resigning. A 20-year career ended by a video.
[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXmy4TySUjc?feature=oembed&w=620&h=349] This has all happened since Monday, May 29, 2017, “Memorial Day” when former Mission Police Officer Manuel Casas was captured on video, with a person who has been identified as his nephew, jamming to music while singing along. As the 20 minute video progresses, it really does not seem to be any big deal until the nephew breaks out a baggie of what appears to be cannabis and calls it drugs. The cherry on top is when, during the video the nephew tells Casas there are “cops” around, to which Casas responds, “I am a cop — like, hello!”

Connecticut State Troopers Charged with Kidnapping for Beating and Torturing Man at Party

Thursday, March 2nd, 2017

Two Connecticut state troopers were arrested Tuesday for nearly beating a man to death while they were off-duty after a night of heavy drinking and nightclubbing.
The troopers were angry that the man grabbed a woman’s butt at an after-party in one of the trooper’s home.
In classic mob style, the troopers even took pictures of the man’s drivers license in an attempt to dissuade him from telling the police.
Now, both troopers have been suspended and a judge has put them both on house arrest until their day in court.
WFSB reports that on February 18, Connecticut state troopers Xavier Cruz and Rupert Laird were out partying and drinking with friends at Club Karma in Hartford.
After the club closed, the group all went to Cruz’s house in Wethersfield to keep partying and drinking. But things got out of control once the drinks began to settle in.
Feeling extra flirtatious from the alcohol, Felipe Figueroa-Garcia grabbed a female guest by the butt. The woman told the troopers and that is when the torture-style beat-down took place.
The troopers forced Garcia to strip down to bare underwear, all while punching and kicking him more than 50 times.
At one point the troopers whipped out a police baton and began beating Garcia, splattering blood on the refrigerator, walls and floor.
Garcia was even made to stand on a metal cheese grater while on his knees.
“You know I can kill you right? If I was going to kill you no one would find your body,” Laird told Garcia while standing over him, pointing a gun, according to court documents.
Eventually the troopers ordered Garcia to clean up his own blood, but when did not do a good enough job for them, they beat him again.
When the troopers finally stopped, they took pictures of Garcia’s drivers license and bruised body as a way to

Wisconsin Deputy Slams 15 Shots of Vodka, Steals Man’s Sweatshirt, Passes Out in Patrol Car, Blames Bartender

Friday, January 20th, 2017

How many shots does it take for a cop to pass out in their patrol vehicle while in uniform and on-duty as a police dog helplessly sits in the backseat?
It took 15 shots of vodka for a Wisconsin deputy to do just that.
St. Croix County Sheriff’s Deputy Ryan Fowler ended up having a .23 blood alcohol content – nearly three times the legal limit.
In fact, Fowler still had the squad car in drive with his foot on the brake when responding officers found him passed out from his drunken stupor.
But he later blamed the bartender at the Comfort Inn for getting him drunk.
The incident took place in October 2016 but reports of the incident were only released until recently.
Deputy Fowler was in North Dakota as extra security reinforcement for the pipeline standoff. He was one of five deputies that were called from the St. Croix County Sheriff’s Department in Wisconsin.
A few hours before Deputy Fowler was suppose to report to duty, he downed at least 15 premium Vodka shots at the Comfort Inn hotel where he and his colleagues were staying.
Additionally, Fowler had taken some sort of prescription medication.
Twincities reports that on October 12 around 11:30 p.m., after downing the shots, Fowler walked to his patrol car with his k-9 dog in an attempt to drive to the pipeline.
But he was too drunk to make it out of the parking lot.
He then became cold and offered to pay $5 for a random man’s sweatshirt. The man identified as Daylan Chasinghawk gave Fowler the sweatshirt but Fowler never coughed up the money.
That was when Chasinghawk called police to report that a deputy stole his sweatshirt.
Once police arrived at the hotel, they found Fowler in his patrol car drunk with the transmission in drive, his foot on the brake, and the doors locked. Officers had to

NYPD Cop Stripped of Badge and Gun After Responding to Drunken Dispute While Drunk

Saturday, December 10th, 2016

An NYPD cop responding to a drunken dispute between neighbors ended up exposed as being drunk on duty.
New York City police officer Richard Evans  was stripped of his badge and gun, and suspended without pay.
According to the New York Post:
“He was clearly inebriated. He was slurring his words,” a police official said.
Ironically, the first whiff of trouble came as Evans, 44, and his rookie partner checked out a report of a drunken dispute between neighbors, law enforcement sources said.
One of the people there accused Evans of being drunk, which he denied, and the officer summoned a supervisor, sources said.
Someone at the scene also shot video of the allegedly drunken cop and made a complaint to 311, a source said.
A sergeant responded, declared Evans fit for duty, and the cops all left without making any arrests, sources said.
Evans stayed in the field until a short time later, when a duty captain summoned him back to the precinct stationhouse near the New York Botanical Garden.
The captain interviewed Evans, declared him unfit for duty.
The Post also reports that Evans has a reputation of a “problem drinker” and was probably drunk when the above photo was taken of him sleeping in the station’s locker room.
The 44-year-old cop made $126,800 last year, including $50,000 in overtime.
But he still griped about living “paycheck to paycheck” when he criticized NYPD police union president Pat Lynch for spending $13,000 in union funds on pricey steak dinners, the Post reports.
So he’s unlikely to get union support in fighting for his job.

Drunk Florida Cop who Claimed She was Targeted in Drive-by Shooting Resigns after Investigation Shows She Lied

Thursday, November 24th, 2016

A Florida cop who claimed she was shot at in a drive-by shooting while walking her dog, forcing her to return fire on the suspects, resigned last week after an internal affairs investigation determined she was drunk and lied about what happened.
Daytona Beach police officer Michelle Smith’s lies became evident to investigators when her victims provided them with three Snapchat videos that depict her as the aggressor.
In her resignation letter, Smith wrote that she was humiliated and treated unfairly during the investigation, according to WFTV.
Smith told investigators a group of suspects occupying two vehicles began challenging her to fight, so she called over her pit bull. She claimed at that point both cars sped off and shot at her as they fled and that she only fired back to protect herself.
Smith claimed she spotted the two cars near her apartment complex and determined  a drug deal was taking place on September 8 around 3 a.m. after she returned home from a night out partying with friends.
That’s when she said the cars began following  her and the people inside began egging her on to fight.
Investigators discovered not only was officer Smith’s story a lie, but that she was the one who instigated the confrontation, then fired shots at six people in two cars while intoxicated and without any provocation from the victims she confronted in the car.
Daytona Beach cops investigate a drive-by shooting against one of their own who claimed she was targeted. But their investigation determined she was actually the perp.
The witnesses told police investigators they were at the apartment looking for a lost set of keys when Smith approached while walking her dog. When a male passenger asked Smith if she was security, she did not reply.
Officer Smith tied her dog to a tree, then approached and began asking questions indicating she wanted to fight.
One Snapchat video taken of the confrontation shows

Drunk California Cop Violently Invades Home of Innocent Couple Looking for House Party

Monday, October 31st, 2016

A California cop got drunk and went to a random couple’s house, thinking he was at the home of a fellow officer throwing a party.
But Oakland police Cullen Faeth ended up arrested on home invasion charges when he attacked the house’s occupants, knocking the woman to the ground and kicking her husband several times.
While the rookie cop was attacking the couple, another cop who has not been identified ran out from the couple’s backyard while pretending to hold a gun underneath his shirt before running away.
The responding officers then spent the remainder of the night pressuring the couple into not filing charges – never once telling them that Faeth was a cop.
Now the home owners Olga and Nemesio Cortez have filed a lawsuit against the city of Oakland and five police officers. Olga is a probation officer.

On December 7, 2015, Faeth and several other off-duty Oakland cops were drinking at Monaghan’s Bar, according to KTVU.
Afterwards they agreed to go to an officer’s house party.
Cue the house party from hell.
At 9:30 p.m.,  Faeth approached the Cortez’s home, mistaking it for the officer’s house party.
“Open the fucking door!” Faith yelled as he banged on the Cortez’s front door.
When Nemesio Cortez cracked the door to see what the commotion was, Faeth tried to force his way inside the home and in doing so, overpowered the man, pulling him outside and kicking him in the stomach.
His wife, Olga Cortez, called the police to report the invasion, then stepped outside in her bathrobe to help her husband.
But Faeth tackled her, exposing her nude lower body.
“Out of nowhere, he kind of faced my direction and then just walked towards me and jumped on me, and grabbed me really, really tight and we fell to the

Fellow police officers searched Brown’s phone and discovered video of a sexual encounter with a man and text messages with male prostitutes discussing paying for sex.
Brown is charged with two counts of second degree sexual assault, two counts of prostitution, and one count of capturing an intimate representation without consent.
He has pleaded not guilty and remains on paid administrative leave.

Officer Dominique Heaggan-Brown’s arrest photo
According to police and early reports from CBS Brown met up with a unidentified man at a bar in August whom he met on Facebook. The men had two long Island ice teas, three Tequilas and a pink drink.
The two were watching news coverage of Brown from when he shot and killed a man while he was on duty.
While watching the coverage, Brown purportedly was bragging that he could do whatever he wanted as a police officer.
Brown and the man left the bar drunk. The man describes remembering Brown attempting to have sex with him in a room on a bed, but the man told the officer no.
However, Brown continued to penetrate him.
Upon the man blacking out, Brown drove the man to St. Joseph’s Hospital around 4 a.m. As the man regained consciousness, he told hospital staff that Brown raped him.
Later that morning Brown sent a text message to a sergeant in his department who he deemed a mentor saying:
