Federal Court Vindicates Virginia Man’s First Amendment Right To Criticize Officials On Their FB Pages

A federal judge in Virginia’s Eastern district court has ruled that a Loudon County elected official censored a citizen by blocking them on Facebook in a First Amendment protected public forum.

Mississippi Prosecutors Defend Cops Who Killed Innocent Man In Wrong House Raid

Mississippi cops killed a totally innocent person while serving a warrant on the wrong house, but the DeSoto County District Attorney John Champion is already lobbying public opinion in favor of the police officers who made a fatal mistake.
He’s saying that officers shot at a dog and killed Ismael Lopez.
Lopez and his wife Claudia Linares were sleeping peacefully at home when the officers arrived.
Ismael Lopez went to answer the door and shortly thereafter fell to the bullets fired by an officer from the Southaven Police Department at the age of 41, right at the front door of his mobile home.

California Cops Throw Shirtless Man on 167 Degree Asphalt Causing 3rd Degree Burns

Police in Citrus Heights, California threw a shirtless man to the ground on 167° F  asphalt. Human skin is instantly destroyed at 162 degrees.  Now James Nelson is in the hospital with serious burns all over his torso and face.

Austin, Texas police arrested PINAC News Correspondent Phillip Turner last week for interfering with a police investigation. But, Turner was simply video recording a DUI sobriety test. Once a police supervisor arrived on site Turner was released.

Texas Cop Just Indicted On First Degree Murder For Killing Unarmed Teen With AR-15

An unarmed Texas teenager was shot and killed, which led a Dallas County grand jury to return a first-degree murder indictment against the police officer who killed him.
Balch Springs cop Roy Oliver shot and killed Jordan Edwards with an AR-15 rifle.
Now he’s facing 99 years in prison.
Oliver was already charged with two counts of aggravated assault, but Dallas County DA Faith Johnson’s office just announced new charges this afternoon, while the officer is still out on a $700,000 bond.

Miami-Dade Prosecutor Loses Landmark Right To Record Case In Federal Court

A Florida man won the right to surreptitiously record police officers while making internal affairs complaints without the threat of prosecution when he defeated the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office (SAO) in a federal appeals court ruling.
Prosecutors tried to censor the citizen, who published his incriminating recording of a police chief.
A lower court erred by agreeing with Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle when she sent a written threat of prosecution under Florida’s wiretapping statute to Dr. Eric McDonough, for making a secret recording and publishing it on to YouTube, in a video which you can see below.

In March of 2017 Citizens For Justice cameraman Matt Akins and I were confronted by Springfield Missouri Police Department Detective Matt Farmer while filming the SPD Headquarters. Akins had been following me as I investigated the public broadcast of private information by Springfield police officers. The investigation, which uncovered evidence that Social Security numbers were being read to the 911 call center over an unsecured dispatch channel available to anyone with a smart phone, led us to the Springfield Police Department General Headquarters.

Disturbing Details Emerge In Louisiana Officer Involved Shooting

New information has emerged in the Louisiana officer involved shooting that killed Dejuan Guillory, 27,  from Mamou.  The details came from an interview with the attorney representing DeQuince Brown, who witnessed the shooting and was arrested afterwards for attempted murder of the police officer who was involved. The attorney, Joe Long, spoke to his client over the weekend and revealed details that Brown divulged about the shooting in an interview with Pin Point News.
