A homeless man was trying to steal a chain on Wednesday in the loading area of a Sedano’s Supermarket in Miami when he knocked out a manager with a punch and injured a security guard with a machete, police said. Witnesses helped to detain a suspect behind a nearby bank until police officers arrived.
