CDC says ultra-processed foods make up majority of kids’ diets

A new CDC report estimates that ultra-processed foods make up about two-thirds of what American children and teens eat. NBC News’ Berkeley Lovelace Jr. reports the findings come as Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. leads an effort to define and regulate these foods as part of his “Make America Healthy Again” initiative.
