Miami-Dade teacher/ athletic director sentenced after having sexual relationship with student

A former athletics teacher at a Miami-Dade County charter school has been sentenced to nearly a year in jail and more than a decade of supervision after pleading guilty Wednesday to a charge involving inappropriate sexual conduct with a female student that occurred back in 2023.
