RAW: Wild Police Chase Ends in Crash After Suspected Bank Robbery in Broward County

Raw aerial and ground video captures a chaotic police chase through Broward County that ended in a crash in a Lauderhill neighborhood. Authorities said 56-year-old Tommy Duwayne Dennis is suspected of robbing a TD Bank in Plantation before leading police on a dangerous pursuit Wednesday afternoon. Investigators said Dennis drove a red Kia Soul through intersections, into oncoming traffic and even through a construction zone as officers chased him. Witnesses described the moment the pursuit came speeding through their work site, with police vehicles close behind. The chase came to an end near Northwest 31st Avenue and Second Street when an unmarked police vehicle performed a PIT maneuver, sending the Kia into a cement wall. Officers surrounded the vehicle, and the suspect was taken into custody. He was transported to the hospital before being taken to jail. No injuries were reported. Authorities, including the FBI, continue to investigate.
