A carjacking suspect struck several police vehicles, overcame multiple PIT maneuvers and hit speeds of 85 mph while fleeing from authorities during a wild chase in Miami-Dade that ended with him behind bars, according to new police reports.
Jordan Eugene Brown, 35, is facing at least nine separate charges following Thursday's pursuit, Miami-Dade jail records showed.
According to the reports and Hialeah Police, Brown had been brought to Palmetto General Hospital Thursday morning by the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office under a Baker Act order but escaped while shirtless and wearing green hospital scrubs.
