US federal authorities seized more than 2,000 pounds of methamphetamine concealed inside a commercial tractor-trailer carrying cabbage in South Texas’ Rio Grande Valley. The DEA’s McAllen office made the seizure as part of a Homeland Security Task Force investigation involving the FBI, HSI, CBP, Border Patrol and Texas DPS. No arrests have been announced, and the investigation remains ongoing.
