Miami Gardens Police searching for missing K-9 that was struck by car

Miami Gardens Police are searching for a missing K-9 that was struck by a vehicle. Officers had responded to a business alarm in the 200 block of Northwest 195th Street around 9:35 p.m. Monday when the K-9, Gael, was let out of a vehicle, police said. Gael immediately ran eastbound across Northwest 2nd Avenue as the officer attempted to recall Gael but he didn't respond. Officers conducted an extensive search but couldn't find Gael.
