A man accused of shooting an Uber Eats delivery driver and then pistol-whipping them in Miami-Dade County was arrested on Monday, authorities said.
Khuslen Saruultuya, 33, was charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and is facing several drug trafficking charges.
During his court appearance, a judge denied Saruultuya's bond.
According to authorities, the alleged attack happened at around 3:30 a.m. on Monday at an apartment complex on North Kendall Drive in Miami.
An arrest report said a delivery driver dropped off food to a woman in the lobby and struck up a conversation.
He then came back an hour later, hoping to get her phone number.
But detectives said the victim couldn’t find her, and when he walked back to his car, he was approached by Saruultuya, who pointed a gun at him and told him to lie on the ground, the report said.
