'This is not Halloween.'
A man who was wearing U.S. Customs and Border Enforcement attire at Miami-Dade College while voting for Brazil's general election was underway was arrested on Sunday, deputies said.
Danilo Silva, 46, was charged with voter intimidation, conspiracy to commit bribery and unlawful use of a police badge, records showed.
According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office, detectives, alongside Homeland Security, were at the polling site when several people saw Silva, who was walking around aggressively while wearing a blue ICE hat, sunglasses, a mask covering his face, a blue ICE raid jacket and boots.
When he faced Judge Mindy Glazer she made a point to tell him that it was not Halloween and that the costume was not appropriate to wear during the brazilian elections.
