Shooting and kidnapping ends with man found dead and car arson, cops say

A shooting in North Miami in which two people were caught on camera jumping out of an apartment window has been connected to the discovery of a body on a roadway and a vehicle arson, officials said Monday. The first discovery happened at around 7:25 a.m. on Sunday when a Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office captain discovered a man who was shot several times lying on the shoulder of a roadway, investigators said. The victim was later identified by authorities as 22-year-old Eddrick Bethune.
