The prosecution and defense made their opening statements in the involuntary manslaughter trial of actor Alec Baldwin in Santa Fe, N.M. The prosecution said Baldwin broke a cardinal rule of firearms safety by pointing a gun at someone. The defense said Baldwin was simply doing his job as an actor. NBC News’ Chloe Melas reports.
