DeSantis calls April special session on redistricting

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is calling for a special legislative session in April to redraw the state’s congressional districts. He is awaiting a court ruling on a key provision of the Voting Rights Act that could affect one or two districts. Currently, Republicans hold 20 of Florida’s 28 congressional seats.
