Surveillance video captured the moment a restaurant waiter in Toledo, Ohio, tackled an armed man who prosecutors said was trying to shoot his ex-wife.
Authorities said Matthew Exton entered the restaurant on April 11, 2025, and tried to fire at the woman, but the gun's safety was on.
The waiter tackled him before he could try again. Last week, a jury convicted Exton, 43, of attempted murder and two counts of felonious assault.
