A deadly encounter at a 55+ community ended in a murder-suicide.
Authorities identified the woman as 57-year-old Denis Del Carmen Polo Fuentes and the man as 64-year-old Franky Paba.
Investigators say she went to the apartment to pick up her belongings when he allegedly shot her before taking his own life. The two were a couple who had separated after going through a difficult time, according to Paba’s sister.
